Seacoast > Western Head Preserve in Cutler,
John and Donna's Most
This 247 acre preserve of the Maine Coast Heritage
Trust (MCHT) provides seaside forest growth, rocky shores,
and cobble layered covers. There is a 3.5 mile long hiking trail on the
preserve that provides great ocean views of the Atlantic as well as the
fishing village of Cutler, Maine.

How to Get to Western Head Preserve
From I-285 (Portland, Maine area) take Route 1 along the coast. Take the Topsham exit
to get to Route 1 Coastal Highway Continue on to Route 1 along the
coast. Or you can opt to go through either Bangor or Augusta for quicker
routes. Eventually you will want to find yourself on Route 191. Before
you enter Cutler Village take a right onto Destiny Bay Road. Travel almost
to the end until you come upon a small parking lot on the right hand side.
