Maine has many wonderful places to visit and
things to do for each of its seasons. Spring brings green trees,
flowers, and warm weather. Summer has pleasant times camping and hiking in
the mountains and countryside and trips to the beaches and fishing villages.
Fall has its famous Maine
fall foliage,
Thanksgiving holiday trips, and cool weather. Winter has snowmobiling, skiing,
and ice fishing. There is something for everyone. Check out our
website categories to the left. We have lakes, rivers, ponds, seashore, mountains,
hiking trails, and state parks. There are many
biking clubs that sponsor biking rides throughout the state
of Maine. For
those seeking a quiet venue join the many birding groups or visit some of
the bird watching areas in Maine.
Our Maine seacoast is mostly
rocky but it is beautiful and one of the longest in the nation. The
rivers up north are great for
whitewater rafting.
And, of course, we have some very beautiful areas to do some
camping,
fishing, and
hiking.
